Where creative briefs go wrong
Inspiration without proof
A swipe file full of ads you liked says nothing about which ones the brand kept paying for.
Formats chosen by habit
The team shoots what it shot last month because nobody can show which format the niche is moving to.
References scattered everywhere
Screenshots in chats and links in docs that nobody can find when the brief is due.
Creative research with signals attached
Format filters, sorted by Ad Rank
Pick UGC, talking head, demo, unboxing, studio or meme, add video, image or carousel, then sort by Ad Rank to see what each page pushes most.
A brand’s creative mix
Open a store to see its mix of formats and the ads it spends the most on in Europe, country by country.
A board per brief
Save ads into boards, nest a board per angle inside a client board, and share it with the people making the ads.
Hook ideas on request
Ask the Assistant in plain words for hooks for a product, or what a niche is running, and it answers with cards from the app.

What to look at in the creatives that last
| Look at | Why |
|---|---|
| Format | UGC, talking head, demo, unboxing, studio or meme. |
| Days running | How long each creative stays live. |
| Ad Rank | Which creative of a brand gets seen the most. |
| Variations | How many versions a brand launches of the same ad. |
Frequently asked questions
How do you label the format of an ad?
Each ad gets a format, such as UGC, talking head, demo, unboxing, studio or meme, next to its media type: video, image or carousel. You can filter by both.
Which signal should I trust: spend, days running or Ad Rank?
Use them together. Spend in Europe shows size, days running shows staying power and Ad Rank shows whether the page is still pushing the ad today.
Can I research competitors that only advertise in the US?
Yes. Their ads show days running, countries, format and Ad Rank. Spend appears only for ads that also reach the EU or UK, because Meta only publishes reach there.
Can editors and designers see my boards?
On the Team plan, you and 3 teammates share boards, so the people making the ads see the references you save. Extra seats are $15 USD a month.
